How can I tell the difference between a real Famicom cart from a repro? I went to my local pawn shoppe and they had some 199 in 1 and other Chinese games.

Aside from Famicom and Mega Drive, were there other consoles where certain game devs could manufacture the games themselves with console manufacturer's permission?

>reminder that you are supposed to return the famicom games back by selling them back to the japanese once you are done with them.

What are some of the best Famicom exclusive games? I'm pretty well acquainted with the Super Famicom's library but not the Famicom's.
I already know of:
>Akumajou Densetsu (Castlevania 3 with better music)
>Cocoron
>Final Fantasy III
>Gimmick! (Technically on NES but no one wants to play a stinky PAL game)
>Mappy
>The Mysterious Murasame Castle (top-tier and underrated action game btw)
>Recca
>Sweet Home
>That baby game by Konami
>The Portopia Serial Murder Case

They're usually obvious since bootlegs are all 99 in 1s and not individual games

Famiclone games are even more worth collecting, they're also pretty costly too if you're getting them on eBay. I have about an even amount of both types.

I don't have many Famicom games, but most of mine are black. The later Konami releases are my favorite because they actually wrap around to the top for end labels.
