4chan, as it is, is a very 90s website.
I never understood why so many people here like to pretend 4chan is a "youth" thing. Maybe it was, 10 years ago. Now it's a place where a lot of older people hang out, mainly because of the anonymous factor, and the way this site works. After all, it's a literal copy of 2chan, which also hasn't changed since it was created in the 90s. It doesn't have any fancy Web 2.0 aspect (other than the shitty captcha), it doesn't have any real social media aspect (no likes, no hashtags, no ways zoomers have to exploit 4chan for their own zoomer needs).
Zoomers are all out in other sites, like tiktok. I think people here who unironically think older (30+) people shouldn't be posting on 4chan are a little lost and confused.
