Things physical collectors say:
>I really wanna play this game but, damn it's hard to find and expensive.. Oh well maybe some day..
>check out my "aesthetic" shelf guise!
>Don't fall for the piracy jew
>Support the devlop- I mean, the re-sellers since not a penny spent on my collection went to the people who made the games.

Sir, I agree with your appreciation of physical, but all those boxes should be placed in a box and shoved into the darkened corner of a closet. You're just going to expose them to light and fade them on a shelf.

not him, but if they aren't exposed to sunlight it should be fine. But if so OP yeah that shit will fade, and fast.

why GBA and Sega Gen?
Why not GBA and Gamecube?
You could use the GBplayer
I know GC isnt techinically 'retro' but its collector worthy. Especially since its all being bought up now.

OP, that is the game that convinced me that emulation can be superior to hardware.
Sure, I could sit down for an hour or two and try rushing through the game. Or I can save state in between sessions and explore the levels at my own pace, and not have to play from the beginning every time.

Books are linear deterministic games which show their graphics by arrangement of signs called letters as a code to manipulate your brain into being a graphicscard & built in monitor, you are autistic if you think that any form of physcial storage for media/ information is superior to others. They all transform Information for consumption, if one is universally childish then all storage medias are. Nothing should be put on the shelves for the manliest grownup housing possible, presenting books is for children who need "muh smart brownie points" confirmation.

I usually buy the games the cheapest way possible (which is usually GOG or Steam), and if I really like it or even becomes one of my favourites, then I obtain a nice physical copy of them on ebay. There's no point to collect games that you don't like.
