I'll begin. Pic related loves to cram shitty gimmicks into their games, and their fans won't shut up about how "innovative" or quirky their games are.

Objectively though, they were only good when they had Sega helping them through the Megadrive times. After they betrayed Sega, their game quality took a considerable nosedive.

No, rather because they didn't make all their games for Sega systems.

Only Guardian Heroes was done with Sega. Also, it was around this time they started making games for N64 and PSX as well, hence their betrayal.
