Caught you, you're either parroting something you heard elsewhere, or are just not smart enough to set up your shit correctly. Default mupen64 works best for conker. Took a lot of tweaking to the config.txt but it ended up working pretty decent. Single player was fully playable. 2 players was a bit slow. 4 players was pretty bad, but playable enough. Overclocked to 1350, along with a bunch of other things. Good luck next time.

Retroarch is a piece of shit but its two exclusive N64 cores are better than anything else out there right now. If you have a modern GPU and a fast CPU you can get perfect speed and accuracy in every N64 game using Parallel N64 with the vulkan api and angrylion multithreading enabled. Meanwhile Mupen64PlusNext gets good enough accuracy using opengl on lower end hardware for most games.

For the faggot incels that thought I was trolling, I own both a Saturn and PS1. I own a 1993 Geo Tracker with headrest screens for backseat friends to be entertained but my PS1 and Saturn consoles are literally to bulky to place under the driver/passenger seat not to mention opening them to insert CDs... I just figured that an emulator on a small but capable device would definitely be more convenient and efficient.
