What are your thoughts on using an SF30 Pro for fighting games. i.e. smash, Tekken, UNIST, etc

Not retro but since you brought up smash: Friendly reminder that if you use any controller other than a single joy con or handheld mode for smash Ultimate then you are soft. People who buy pro controllers and gamecube switch controllers are usually the ones most shit at the game.

If it works for you it works for you. eople say the saturn d-pad is better for fighting games, and I agree that in part it's a bit easier for me to use it than the SNES one. I heard the SF30 Pro needs a fix for oversensitive diagonals, so that might be an issue. If it's an SNES d-pad, IMO it is still somewhat better than the Dualshock 4 or the Xbox One controller d-pads.

Sorry to hear that. I have a Oyster brand blender from the late 80s that still works great...with or without the lid on.

dpad is raised high and pretty stiff, not really good for fighting games, if the dualshock pad makes your thumbs hurt this won't be much better
