Lads, if you have a game you played when you were a kid and don't remember the name of it, post the description of it here

>Game was most likely for the ps1
>had multiple discs
>was very green and pretty, weather was mostly clear for most areas and the landscapes were very pretty
>the last event of disc one was your party getting sucked up through some portal or something, it may have been going to another planet, it may have just been going somewhere else, but they stepped in a portal and afterwards you got the message "Please insert disc two"
>it was a turn based rpg
>i'm pretty sure the battles were 2d, but i don't remember for sure

Does anyone have any idea as to what game this was?

Arcade racing game with buggies or some type of off road vehicle. Early to Mid 90s period game, I think it had digitized ladies at the end of each race Cruisn USA-style.

No idea if it ever received a console port.

Ive already tried on my own and its driving me nuts

Please help

Ok, so I haven't been able to dig up info on a portal in the sky on any JRPGs of the era, I do have a list of multi disc, turn based games:

Lunar silver star
Lunar 2 eternal blue
Grandia
Crono Cross
Legend of Dragoon
Dragonwarrior 7
Various Final Fantasies

This is your pool of suspects, unless you recall more details.

That's the one that kept popping up when I would try different Google searches, but I don't think it's right. Here's one I only saw in action once, but saw many times in the plastic clamshell boxes in the software/computer section of department stores (this was back in the early 80s I think, or maybe before) The premise was that you were trying to save the US from a big robot-tv-looking-thing that turned anyone who touched it into these fuzzy critters, who would then turn anyone they touched into the fuzzy things, like a fuzzy zombie apocalypse. But there was a way to turn them back, if you planted these gems on the ground and the fuzzy guys touched one, it would expend the gem and turn the guy back to normal. You also had to pay for transport to different US cities using the gems, but fortunately you could clone the gems by planting them on the ground and waiting; they would soon sprout another gem which could make another, etc. The wandering people would grab the gems if they touched them, though, whether they were fuzzy or not. I seem to recall you needed 100 gems to destroy the big bad.
The format was a "flip-screen" type, where you would move all over a screen and jump to a new screen when you crossed the edge (like classic Zelda).
This was made for the computers of the day, like the TI-99 4A or something like that.

It was a very old PC Game not sure if it was for XP or even earlier. It's a platformer similar to Mario Bros except the levels were vertical and there was a constant flood of lava coming from below, point was to save the princess or even princesses in each level and get the key that leads to the exit door. I believe it had a few power ups like turning into Robin Hood and getting a bow and it had enemies too, and special items to freeze the enemies and the lava too. It had no overworld it was just the game loading the levels from a folder. Also had a standalone level maker to mess around with.

anon on /v/ sent me here.

I'm trying to remember a really creepy game I remember playing as a kid but I only have really vague memories of it.

I'm pretty sure it would have been a 90s-era PC game, probably an adventure or puzzle solving game. I'm fairly sure it involves exploring an old decrepit mansion looking for clues.

The most concrete details I can give are story related. You arrive at this mansion, I think in a group, to either help this kid escape or find something; or the kid is dead, and you have to figure out who killed him or help his spirit or something. Anyway, at the end of the game you realize the kid is actually you, and that you are trapped in some kind of nightmarish purgatory loop, forced to try and save your own damned soul repeatedly.

I've been trying to remember this game forever, it would be incredible if anyone can figure out what the fuck I'm talking about.

>main enemies in the game are robots and wasps (see image)
>final level involved jumping on this machine that keeps spawning enemies in this mechanical area
I know "Stickybun" was in the title and I've tried searching on the internet but the only mention of it I've been able to find was on this random website https://forums.whirlpool.net.au/archive/1953178 where one of the posts mentions it.

There was a game I played as a little kid around 1995-1997 where it was all just clicking on stuff that would do little sounds or animations. The characters were like bird people of various colours. From what I recall the game had "the yakadoos" or "the wackadoos" in the title. I've found nothing on google.

I was really young and it's a really obscure game so don't worry if you have no clue.
It's an MS-DOS game I'm sure with very basic graphics: I think the game starts with you getting stabbed through the blankets by a murderer, or something. It was a point and click game and you go around your house trying to escape: pretty sure you can exit your house as well.

Saw my big bro playing this game with his friends maybe 15 years ago, so some details might be incorrect

>2D side-scroller (HnS(?))
>Co-op as a group of different characters
>One of the characters has a wheelbarrow. Another one has a comically large sword (Buster Sword tier)
>First stage is a desert, later on there is a water level
>PC game, or something that could've been emulated at the time.

I'm scared that it's just some shitty flash game I have a really distorted memory of.

I remember playing it on windows when I was young, the doodle I made has some of the details I remember from it.
>was a scene maker sort of game with a theatre almost sort of theme, but was not Opening night or Storybook weaver
> It was 2d with a somewhat cartoonish look with more than 16 colors
> you can click on actors to make them walk around the scene and interact with other actors, which then they'll talk gibberish to eachother
>Also had a storybook part of the game about 2 brother with their pet fox(or other small animal companion?) saving a princess

Also a doodle of what the storybooks 1st page might've looked like
>the storybook was like a livingbooks with things to click on in the scene to animate that doesn't affect the story in any way
>I think the princess might've been in a tower by a cliff by the end of the story
>the pet gets a girl version of itself at the end of the storybook
>there was also a teaser trailer for another story about someone (a wannabe pirate possibly?) on a boat in a storm.

At least I can help you: your second game which starts in a mental hospital and you can pick up a cockroach? It's called 'Countdown.' Found it by going through a list of games set in psychiatric hospitals and searching on 'game title cockroach' on google. Easy find.

This game was on those PC Gamer CD's with lots of demos back in the mid 90's through the early 2000's.

I don't remember how many levels you could actually play, probably two or three.

The main point of the game is that you could take an item during the levels and then transform. There were MANY, and I mean many possible transformations available on the full game based on the empty slots on the menu you opened during the game. Only like 5 or 6 transformations were available in the demo. Anyway, each one gave you diferent powers: one were you could use fire, another lasers, another one you could fly (I think), that was the gist of it. I am not sure what the transformations were, it was so long ago.

I think your character and the enemies are miniatures or something. Maybe some kind of robot.
