Love it. And I fucking hate how Sega stole the series and proceeded to rape it with a new design.

I also wish the Madou Monogatari RPGs were translated.. though on second thought, almost all of them are dungeon crawlers and I hate those, so...
The SNES one is a traditional RPG and it is already translated, though. The Saturn one is the one that really needs a translation. Shit, if someone is willing to translate it, I'll go and dump the script (which still needs recompression to be inserted to the game, so it would only work with runtime patches until someone cracks the compression the game uses)

It's too bad both Compile (Heart) and Sega aren't willing to come to terms with eachother...

The only one in the series I particularly hate is Fever. It's a bullshit mechanic.

It's actually a pretty damn good idea by the way... they can continue the series as it was, without being forced to do a new cast. And if they ever manage to get the characters back from Sega (who isn't using them besides crappy cameos anyway!), they can just edit the gfx and names and voila it has the full original characters.

I just wish they made a real JRPG instead of the dungeon crawlers. At least Sei MM will be an overhead one like Waku waku Puyo Puyo Dungeon, which was actually pretty fucking nice, even if the last dungeon was fucked up (you had to grind 100 levels or something without saves). Once you look up the item effects on a dictionary and figure out when you need to use food items, it's pretty playable even in Japanese.

Someone make a functional CNX compressor, and I'll see if I can make at least a basic translation for GUI and items and such.

I don't know how anyone can set up a chain of more than 6 or 7 without getting needled to death by quick 2s and 3s (which is how you beat Dr. Robotnik on Hardest- just keep hitting him). More than 6 is just plain overkill anyway.

They can, but you need to be faster than your opponent. If he's just throwing down one or two layers at a time (or not even layers, sometimes a single nuisance in the right place will do it) and you're trying to use those to build bigger chains, you're probably going to run out of real estate while he's sitting on an empty board.
