NES carts have nicer labels and the bigger size makes it feel like you're getting more for your money.

Not exclusive to the Famicom, and even 9999 in 1 Famicarts have more soul than NES cartridges.

The large size is due to two thirds of the cart being filled with absolutely nothing. It’s just a waste of plastic and Famicarts have better artwork on them by a mile.

Do you like to eat Listerine Pocketpaks, container ‘n all, and then vomit them? Otherwise I don’t see why you’d associate mint green with puke lol.

Personally, my first impression of the Famicom was that it was a cheaply made game system you would find in CVS. The cartridges remind me of something you would find in a thrift store to place in a cheap plastic toy to produce some horrible chiming music. The Zelda cart, however, has beautiful art.

but i prefer the gold zelda carts over the green in OPs pic eventhough it matches with link.

>actually wanting rainbow clown vomit with no end labels
You can't organize this shit. If you organize by color, you have no idea which game is what. If you organize alphabetically, then you get a mess like pic related.

Which no one actually plays anymore since it's cheaper to just get an AV Famicom from Japan and either get the Japanese versions of all the games or play them off an Everdrive which costs about as much as a couple NES carts and plays every single game besides that unlicensed Korean one. There's some cringy collectors who want to own all games with the SCN-serial number for sure, but they seem to be far less common than Famicom users and I doubt they actually play their PAL-games.

>> No.5637553

>>5637502
then you'd have to remember what color a game's cart was before you went to find it. Easy for some games but just a pointless hardship for less notable or more common colors.

Just write the name in sharpie across the top if you want them to be easy to find.

I love famicom carts but no top labels is the worst.
Being able to get casette storage from thrift stores for my famicom carts is a huge plus though. I wish other consoles had such easy to find storage/display solutions.
