What's the best Gameboy system?
What's the best Gameboy videogame?
Where do you like to play your Gameboys?

For me, it's the GBA, Wario Land 3, and on the turlet.

Paradoxically, I think the SP delivers the best non-emulated experience but I don't get very much excitement from the console itself.
In my opinion the Pocket is the most beautifully designed console of all time. I think it still looks reasonably contemporary, in fact people mistake mine for a phone all the time. The lackluster battery life and olde-timey screen can be hard to go back to, but I still use it to play tetris on the can.

I like to bike to the top of the mountain in town and play outside.

Regular GBA would be if it was backlit. Officially, the SP beats it out, but those modded normal backlit GBAs are probably real nice

Used to be that guy that brought his to school, but only for a short period of time in my senior year math class. The class was always complete chaos because the teacher couldn't control the class and the kids were terrible, so it wasn't like I was missing any actual teaching anyway. I figured bringing an original GameBoy was a lot better looking than bringing a 3DS like all the kids that got bullied did anyway. Now that I've been graduated a while I mostly just play them at home or family functions if I don't feel like socializing with anyone there.

Backlit GBA or GBA SP. Personally I think the GBA formfactor is better, but many prefer the clicky buttons on the SP. There are some clicky button mods for the regular GBA though.

Even though it’s not very bright at all, I have a soft spot for the light.
It’s very neat to have.
Plus a soft glow just means it’s easy on the eyes to play in the dark.

A few years ago when I worked for Thomson Reuters, I'd have so little to do I'd play in the bathroom for ~45 mins at a time. I beat Advance Wars 1 & 2 (including Advanced campaign), as well as Golden Sun 1 & 2.
When it came to Advance Wars 2 and I got to the last level, I made a morning out of it; I found an image of the last level and drew up battle plans on how I was gonna beat it, then later that day (at work) I executed the plan, and it worked. Probably my most memorable day there.
Also I had a particular bathroom I went to: it was a two stall, with a handicap bathroom. I referred to it as "The House of Stone and Light"
