Had a quirky Eastern style charm though i believe was made entirely by Western devs.

Gorgeous graphics, very colorful, varied locals and even day / night variants.

I guess he just wasn't as well received as he is sorely lacking in 'tude' and great graphics and gameplay just aren't enough.
