I'm sure this will come off as a blog, but fuck it. I remember when I was young reading an issue of gamepro where they had some giant section on UT2000. I think I only had 2 or 3 non-humongous entertainment games on PC since I was a psx/n64 only player. The ads looked so fucking cool and every review was hyping it up in the mag, I would stay awake at night just looking at the cool artwork. I eventually showed my dad the ads but never said I wanted it so he never knew to get it for me. Eventually played it many many years later and while the magic was gone it was still a treat.
