Anyone ever find anything cool from back then?
I found this page http://web.archive.org/web/19961222150158/http://www.nintendo.com/newsroom/show_frame.html
Got any other ideas?

The official Treasure site's only lets you see the games that have been re-released on modern systems, but they still have their old stuff online, just not accessible from the Home site anymore.

It's a little too obnoxious but the game "Hypnospace Outlaw" tries to capture the mid-to-late 1990s Internet feel. A bit too over-the-top for my taste but at least they make an earnest attempt.

I like finding small blogs from the late 90's and sadly seeing them fizzle out in the early 2000's for some reason or another. It's the closest you'd ever get to finding an abandoned building online. It's just full of things people used to talk about and discuss but now there's no one there anymore.

I'm not sure how big these sites were back in the day, but I still enjoyed looking through them today and seeing the opinions of people 20 years ago when the things they were reviewing were new.

On topic though, you can still look at the Sonic Adventure website since someone was kind enough to buy it and keep it up. I wonder if you can still view it on a Dreamcast?

I used to be watched over by a Hispanic-American Mormon lady afterschool and I remember her asking her son who took to listening to the soundtrack of why he was singing along with the music when it isn't his culture.

I wish there were a registry of all the Tenchi Muyo! fan sites as there's one I used to browse that was hosted on geocities I think that I'd be happy to see again. There's also another Gundam modeling site which I used to browse for the reviews. I feel it might still be around.

First two things whose websites I searched for when I first got dial up in my home in '98 was Pokemon and WWF.
Still remember when Officer Jenny was on the opening page.

What's wrong with it?
Don't forget you gotta look at it at a resolution of 800x600 or lower.

>these CD ROM art collections
I wonder how hard it is to find most of these nowadays, and I bet they aren't dumped on the internet either.
I remember buying from their online shop in 2001/2002, but right around that time, or 2003, they changed their whole website structure and stopped shipping overseas, I think they also kinda stopped doing software outside of a few ones, but I feel old Gainax was more devoted to PC software or CD-ROM releases.

I remember that before they bought the ign64 domain ign was just a really obsessive personal webpage with a huge url that had every prerelease piece of mario64 media that existed at the time. Fuck I wish I could find it again, there's zero info about it online anymore.
