MRC: Multi-Racing Championship is the only racing game I ever played and is therefore in my (not so humble) opinion the best racing game ever.

It's just so god damn good.

The first two Gran Turismo games are some of my favorite racing games of all time. Still mad that shithead Sony exec "wondered why anyone would play these" over the painfully boring newer installments.

I was hired as freelancer by Driver-Inter to do the opening animation, some HUD overlays and splash screens for this. I had less than three weeks total for the project. Tools used included Lightwave and Photoshop. I never played the actual game, but I heard it didn't turn out very well.

Obvious choice but the Wipeout games. I've played so many arcade racers hoping to find one as good but nothing even came close. I love how weighty the ships feel, how much emphasis there is on real racing fundamentals and the challenging memorable tracks. Besides that, Jet Moto 3 is a fun one if you manage to get past how awkward and glitchy it feels initially.
