Two worked fags. Get good means uppercuts spams and autuism. Special moves are useless on high.

NES Contra and Super C both exceed their arcade counterparts in gameplay. Much faster and more fun.

NES Bionic Commando is basically an entirely different game compared to the arcade but so much better.

I figured uppercuts were the most useful thing on MK2 when I first played it at age 7.
Also, I remember the SNES version being significantly harder than the Genesis one.

what makes SNES vs better? asking as a curious fan who played this to death on SNES (during era & recent EMU) but didn't complete it via MAME nor in Arcades when I was a wee lad

SNES UN Squadron has multiple extra planes you can get rather than being forced to use one. More stages too. The final boss is a disappointment compared to the giant ship you fight in the arcade version but that's all.

No, megadrive version is a tighter game with better level design and more tactical gameplay. Both the arcade and SNES versions are sloppy, the level design is terrible and you can nearly outrun the camera so enemies can't touch you.

You just prefer the SNES version because your health automatically refills when on critical after a few seconds, you dirty casual.

>> No.5479574

>>5479560
What? The SNES version is arguably more difficult because the health bar is less lenient. After you get hit, you need to wait a few seconds without taking another hit (or you will die) for it to refill but the healthbar never refills fully. In the arcade version this doesn't exist and the healthbar acts like a normal healthbar

>> No.5479575

>>5479560
> your health automatically refills when on critical after a few seconds
Dude, that varies based on the difficulty level and character that one chooses. I've beaten the SNES versions using Shin on Gamer. That is as hard as it gets because if you get hit, your recovery time is not anywhere close to three whole seconds.
Hold Up on controller 2 (I think) to unlock Gamer mode via controller 1. Good luck, we're all counting on you.

>> No.5479589

>>5479574
Actually, you're right. Not sure what I'm smoking because my earlier comment regarding the recovery time is revered. Hey, it's been a while since I played it, but the point is, if you get hit on Hard or Gamer on the SNES version you're fucked unless you're quick because you're extra vulnerable until you recover. The arcade version is just an exercise is memory, while the home version is insane and might kill you.

Unironically Super Mario Bros. The arcade version gradually mixes in stages from the Lost Levels and it has a far better difficulty curve than in the NES version, where 8-1 hits you like a brick wall.

Its not bad but 25 lives? Were they for real? The minigame is a joke. Bosses are also garbage compared to the arcade version and level design really goes to shit in the last level, feels like it's a series of debug stages except with a nicer background. Still one of the better Shinobis but I prefer the arcade despite some flaws.
