On June 2 1972 a massive dust storm took place in Tehran at 4:50pm (local time). 5 men were killed, more than 30 people were injured, and dozens of cars were destroyed. Now the dust has finally settled, knowing what we know now and with todays technology could we create a more technologically advanced game than ever before that could still run on the original GameBoy hardware, or did game designers in the 80s and 90s already reach the limits?

Got something akin to mode 7 for the Game Boy and I believe there was a vector-based 3D game but I can't find it among all the clipart Google shows me.
