replaying now I forgot how easy yet fun this was

>> No.546075

I had fun collecting coins and seeing what ending you get

>> No.546098

Played through it slowly over several months, a couple of minutes a day while on the shitter. Found everything, and I totalled around 9950-ish coins. Didn't get 9999.

>> No.546453

>>546098

You could have just gotten 49 more.

>> No.546459

Nice.
>Dat OP pic
Feels. It's been over a decade since I played this. Need to revisit.

I only played the Virtual Boy game, Wario World. It was amazing, though. One of my all time favorite platformers. Also strangely creepy in some ways, as it takes place in what amounts to a huge underground dungeon.

>> No.547448

>>547440
The VB one was still called Wario Land. Probably the game that gets most use on my own VB.

>> No.547453

>>547440
Wario Land VB was one of the only VB games.

>> No.547464

>>547448

Huh, you're right. It was the 3D game that was World World. Either way, the Virtual Boy game was awesome, I played it constantly.

>>547453

Well, yeah, but it was still awesome. In fact, the four Virtual Boy games I own were all pretty awesome, except Mario Clash.

>> No.547476

Better than both SML1 and 2.

>> No.547479

WL3 > WL2 > WL4

never played the first one.

You.... forgot... how easy... a wario game is?
How? It's Wario.
It's basically the Mario series equivalent of Kirby.

I love that filter. I hate that emulator.

Want to make it even easier? Just press start and hit select(?) 16 times. Easy trick to let you edit your lives, coins, enemies defeated, and time remaining.

doesnt have secrets all over the place

>>547537
What? Wario Land has lots of secrets, dude. Some of them even are really fucking well hidded.

>> No.548026

You have to hold A and B down to move the cursor. Also, if you move the cursor to Wario's head and press start, you will gain a power-up (it cycles through them).

Easily one of my all-time favorite Game Boy games of all time. I played it so much I killed the battery in my cart, it's still the only battery backed game that's died on me so far. Went out and got an extra copy to play that saves so I can play through it again, one world for each play session to keep it going.

>>547525

YES, holy shit I used to spam the fuck out of this code to keep giving me the flying cap.

>> No.548070

Liked it better than WL2 and WL3.

>one world for each play session to keep it going.
what does that part mean?

>> No.548163

I remember hating the Parsley Woods boss. And the one in that Lava Canyon world.

>> No.548174

I need to buy another copy. My older brother stole my copy like the faggot he is.

Goddamn did I love that game.

One world every day so I don't rush through the whole game in one sitting, pacing myself.

>What? Wario Land has lots of secrets, dude. Some of them even are really fucking well hidded.

Not really. I got every single exit and treasure on my first playthrough.

>> No.548541

I lost my VB, is there a way I can play the first one on PC? The only VB emu I found is... really bad.

Actually WL3 might be one of my favorite games ever. It's like a metroid Wario. Cum everywhere

this game was fucking awesome. i think there was one treasure i could never find though.

Hate? No not at all. It just didn't have as much as the others and everything was too straightforward.

>> No.551057

Great game. Played it recently and 100%ed it. Lots of fun.

Still, WL2 is way better. I might need to go back to it as well.

>> No.551286

I've only played Wario Land 1 and 2. Do any of the later games retain the WL2 thing where you never die, but instead each enemy causes a different form change (flattened, on fire, zombified, etc.) when it "damages" you?
