My cousin bought it thinking it was gonna be the hottest shit.
Anyway, Road Rash and Need for Speed were pretty fun. The Wolfenstein 3d port I think was praised too but not my thing.
Other than that MadDog McCree 1 and 2 were enjoyable lightgun games. Dude was just crazy about NFS though so it pretty much was worth it for him, dude still is crazy about cars.

Star Control 2 is no question one of the greatest games ever made, and it was first released on the 3do. It was ported to windows and linux and probably mac too I'm not sure back in like 2003 but it was first released on the 3do, not a reason to buy the system really but if you play it you might like it enough to want to see the original. Really if you like games with a story and world to explore at all it's nothing short of a masterpiece, although fair warning you probably will get the "you lose" ending without going through the whole time limit of the game multiple times. The modern port is called The Ur-Quan Masters if any of you want to check it out
