>unironic smooth jazz intensifies
I thought it was SYMPHONY of the Night, not fucking Easy Listening Muzak of the Night.

What were they thinking?

Bump.

yeah sure, let's just ignore the majority of classical music that was specifically composed for SotN by Michiru Yamane because of one track that resembles jazz at some point.

Sounded more like Kenny G or Yanni made the music to be honest.

then tell me all about the jazz elements in wood carving partita. guess what, there are none. take any other example except the one you find the actual jazz notion for. I don't even know which soundtrack you mean. Probably one in the saturn version.

Literally the majority of the SotN soundtrack.

Thread of brainlets. Music is the sole redeeming quality of the game.

you could set any album of his to virtually any 90s RPG ever and it'd work, it's incredibly bizarre

You could use one of those

Idiotic troll bait. Time to post your favorite tracks from the game. The soundtrack is god tier.

Wood carving Partita, Dance of Pales, Marble Gallery, Lost Painting, all classical. some have heavy synth-use, some more, some less, sure but are classical music at their core. it just costs a fortune to record everything from a decent orchestra. Crystal Teardrops is complete meme jazz though. I can give you that one 100%.

Akira Yamoka did some work on it.

He means the credits music which is pure mid 90s easy listening smooth jazz fusion muzak, not Wandering Ghosts which kind of sounds like a spooky version of a Steely Dan track.

No, IV is even worse than SotN. I’m not a Castlevania fan, the first game was a decent platformer with a cool aesthetic and everything after was lame.

Blatant Baroque influence all over the soundtrack. Of course it's nothing like actual classical music but there is a heavy classical style that permeates throughout the entirety of the OST, don't be obtuse. One of the tracks is literally just Toccata and Fugue in Dm sped up.

You sure George Benson didn't work on the soundtrack, too? Because the music is "Breezin'" through and through.
