This idiot "retro game youtuber" just made a video trashing Super Mario Kart for 15 minutes straight, calling it "too hard", unfair, and unwieldy to control. He couldn't even unlock 150cc. Fucking scrub.

Super Mario Kart is perfectly beatable! The controls might be the tightest in the series! I love the difficulty, it actually makes you get Good at the game to beat it!

I mean, we are talking about Super fucking Mario Kart here. It was far from the most difficult game back in the day. It found it rather easy compared to most back then. I'll admit 150cc Special Cup is fairly brutal, it's not impossible though

The only difficult stage is Rainbow Road on 150c. And thats give or take if the CPU decides to be a dick and trow off track. Other than that, its really not hard after a couple of weeks of playing.

It's because you didn't have more than 1 game back in the day so you were going to get the fun out of it one way or the other.
Mind you I actually don't like the first Mario Kart because I find racing controls on D-pad to be intolerably ass (yes, even F-Zero) and I played it back in the day.

I beg to differ Anon, 150cc Dount Plains 3 is equally if not more of a crapalanche than Rainbow Road. At least there you're on tiles and not on dirt/water.
