It has some questionable tracks but on the whole it's a good album if you just look at it as a solo Gilmour effort that happens to have Rick and Nick on board, just like how The Final Cut is basically a Waters solo effort. But that's neither here or there; "Signs of Life" is still a really good track and it's arranged really well in the intro to the song. It's obviously ripped off, but it segues into an original melody that flows well with it, unlike most of the songs Chris Hülsbeck outright stole note for note.
