He's alright, clips from their podcast make for good distraction while mowing the yard or something. I respect that he's a legit fan of old games and not just using them to cash in on a fad. That being said, with as much as he apparently spends on games, he could do more to give back to the community, such as buying and dumping muh hoarded prototypes.
