Yeah the game is pretty easy, enemies are rarely aggressive enough and they suck at maneuvering in the manual battles. But it's still a fun game if only because of all the choices you get.

But seriously, if you're playing without chaos and Tauron or Sharee is your opponent, just get ready for them to wipe out everyone else and overwhelm you with their summons.

I just wish there was a mod to allow you to pick the opponents and edit the game world.

You could always savescum when hitting Myrran dens/ruins/temples/etc., in the hopes of getting extra spellbooks. IIRC they're relatively common.

Shadow Demons has Weapon Immunity but Warship has 10 melee and range attack, so it's no problem. Shadow Demons are slow so once they're out of ammo, the Warship can outrun them and pelt them from distance. They have regeneration so it could take a long time to kill them.

Wraiths has Weapon Immunity same with Shadow Demons. They are melee only and a bit faster, but Warship can still outrun them. Their Life Stealing attack can be a problem.

All undeads have Illusion Immunity so Invisibility is useless against them.

Does anybody ever build fantastic stables? I find them to be overly expensive and the units they produce are underwhelming. I guess flight offers some cheese potential but I'll usually have summons that can do this before I get the f.stables.
