SD2SNES MSU1 help

I have SD2SSNES REV J firmware 1.9.0 I am trying to get into MSU1 and I only managed to patch Mario Kart, Secret of Mana and Star Fox which was fucking difficult to get working but now it works. All 3 games now have msu1. I am trying to get Seiken Densetsu3 working with msu1 and so far I am up shits creek without my dick here. I have read the instructions and tried to follow every step but when I patch the rom and then put the rom into its directory with the pcm files, I launch the game and the audio remains unchanged as if it wasn't even patched at all even though I clearly patched it. Wtf am I doing wrong here, do I need a specific version rom? Please help me out. I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks.

I literally did this to both Mario Kart and Secret of Mana which worked
I followed the stupid directions the readme said tried sever times and the sound track is unchanged. Idk how I am fucking up here when I clearly followed every instruction.

I'm probably just a stupid faggot.
