>Lol, so never.

EA released more than 100 games on the Sega Genesis/ Mega Drive, making them one of the most active third party publishers on the console.

Trip Hawkins at EA basically threatened that they would publish their own unlicensed games on the Genesis/ Mega Drive with their own reverse engineered development kits if Sega wouldn't play ball and give them favorable royalties on each cartridge sold. Sega, who really didn't have many third party developers signed on in 1989 agreed and as part of the deal EA manufactured their own cartridges. hence the yellow tabs.

Because of EA's publishing deal they managed to publish a lot of games for that console. They've definitely released some stinkers like Shaq-Fu, but did also develop/ published a lot of good games too. The Road Rash series, The Strike series, The NHL series for me, General Chaos, Starflight, The Mutant League games, Rings of Power, Blades of Vengeance and others.

I played it first on gameboy so I wanted to see how much better the genesis one was but it was exactly the same. It only has 4 levels while pc flightsims could have 30 missions. Still a fun game, it was one of those games that was really hyped in its day, I remember getting a play guide from a magazine that made the game seem epic.
Snes version of jungle and urban were really half assed but there was a snes games called ASP which is a bit of a knock off and has some high rez screens before a level.

Jungle is amazing, up until the last 2-3 missions that suck all the fun.
Urban is mostly solid, foot sections bring it down a bit. Intro is mega badass tho. 6button mode is bugged, a shame.
