It was alright. First thing I noticed is that you locked to a 32x32 grid, and going into doombuilder showed this to be true. You might not want to do that, since it gives the levels a very blocky feeling. ID used a grid of 8 for their official maps, if it's any help. In addition, what >>538504 said, you can make this area with a single linedef that has middle textures on both sides. As for the elevator, just make them reusable, raise to highest floor, lower to lowest floor, and on the top lower the ceiling to the floor like so.
There was also a HOM here (missing textures) but I fixed it without thinking.

The last thing is that I noticed is that all of your doors don't have the lower unpegged settings flagged for the side linedefs. If you don't have them unpegged, the sides will appear to rise up with the door, instead of staying still like a normal door, giving it a very weird look. It's worth it to read up on texture alignment on the doom wiki to learn more about that kind of stuff.

Whoever made that thread in /q/, fuck you. I was preventing myself to do that because /q/ wasn't exactly made to ask for banning and/or reporting threads. Make the room with the Spider Mastermind more interesting. I personally think that section is the weakest part of the entire level. I liked the starting part weaving through the pillars, then going back up after getting the key card with an ambush set up, and going up the stairs with those walls revealing monsters.

I just feel compared to the rest of the level the entire crusher area is a bit tame and especially for new players they are wondering where to go in that section from going up the lift then running off of it to the switch. Even when you throw the switch it is just a bunch of simple imps and it isn't a problem to deal with. It is just an uninteresting room with a gimmick of crushing a boss monster. I think it could use a bit more given how big that room is.

A bunch of damage floors but a lack of rad suits to really figure your way around the map for the first try or if you are trying to get reacquainted with the map. I agree, I like how the former humans look. I personally think the Imp should have less of a skull looking face and have its face a bit more akin to a traditional grey alien. polmapguy here. Hopefully this won't cause another doomkart shitstorm.

I made a very crude test track for doomkart and made the floor track low friction (like the ice floors in hexen) and with the low friction floors it ends up that the doomkart pre-alpha feels a lot more like a kart game.

Essentially it provides drifting, though you can still turn a lot quicker than you could in a kart game. I have a feeling that if you just limited the player input (not sure how to do that) so that you had a maximum turn input it would feel really really close to a kart game.

There would still be quite a bit of work after that but you'd have the bare bones of a kart game.

So I downloaded GZDoom and used my setup from Skulltag to try out those recommended WADs from here. Everything works fine except for the fact that I don't think I can reload. Here. It melts over time, and then disappears. It can be used to block enemies, but has fairly low HP. The reason this took so long is because I'm also making it act like a weak turret, shooting low damage beams from the top, but that's not finished yet and I'm going to bed. Well, the map is pretty good for a speedmap/birthday map. Health gets really scarce towards the end, the whole thing takes place in corridors, and there's lots of AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAgitated Skeletons I got flustered when I got teleported to a room with some Bruiser Brothers and a switch (FLASHBACKS) with only 3 health. Still managed to scrape by.

All in all, It was a short fun run, but definitely nothing worth replaying. 6/10 it was ok.

Remood is an updated version meant for splitscreen.
