I think everybody has their favorites. I liked the caveman and wrestler parts better than the robot personally. Ninja part was definitely one of the best though, I think most people agree on that one.

Ninja part is one of my least favorite, it's a bit of a pain if you want to be stealthy.
I like most chapters, also stopping before completing all of them would mean missing on Oersted.

I enjoyed it, never quite finished it though. If you get to the end, a new chapter opens up for some "True Chapter" from what I remember.

But yeah, knowing that each character has a different story, there're surely some you will love more than others. I'd say give it a try~

The knight and ninja chapters were my least favorite, because of how badly they wall you if you're even one level lower than the game wants. Certain fights are nearly impossible unless you have a specific skill that you learn at a relatively high level for that point in the game.
