Can anyone help me figure out how to do the extra man glitch in Super Mario 1? I jump on the ducks but cant figure out the pattern.

Try practicing in smb2. Remember Mario needs to be abble to fall below the surface the shell is on. It's easy to set it up like in the vid because Mario uses the floating block to fall perfectly straight down at :35.

I think it's interesting that they put a mechanic in the game that rewards the player with extra lives when jumping on consecutive enemies without touching the ground. As far as I'm aware, there isn't a part in the game where you can time your precision jumps to land on 8 consecutive different enemies.
