This might be an unpopular opinion, but I have never been a fan of Capcom CPS2 beat 'm ups. I'm not saying they are bad games in any way, but somehow, doesn't have that spark that CPS1 beat 'em ups had for me. I believe Capcom made better games on the CPS1 hardware. Also, I hate pretty much all the Q-Sound soundtracks (except some rare exceptions)

be smart and use the moveset effectively, his reach is shit so utilize the slide especially low and if you press punch ttowards the end of the slide you will get a full power swipe, also his jump kick keeps ppl standing so you can immediately attack from the stun, the purple aliens are complete cunt with him so use weapon where poss and if going for speed use the grenade launcher then when they are all down in a clump low slide attack them as it connects on ground. Shaeffer also has a useful string loop where you turn away before the last hit then turn bvack immediately restart, you can do this like 3/4 times on the big guys in stage and the faggot stage 2 boss.
