In Earthbound you are asked some questions as you start your game. You can name your favorite food, which I always left as Pizza. In turn, I thought the reason there was a Pizza Delivery service was because of my answer. Of course, that's not true and your choice of food only matters when visiting home and you use it as an Inn, your mother telling you (and your party) that she'll make your favorite food for dinner.

The first time I played, I told it my favorite food was "shroom". Once I went thru Twoson and got mushroom poisoning with the shroom on my head (like in >>529337 's pic) and attacked my Hippies, I died.
