This won't actually fly. Insurance is never the buyer's problem no matter what clauses you work into your ad. Always insure your shit and factor it into the sale. If you give the buyer the option to decline insurance you are potentially screwing yourself.

Which is complete shit. I don't know. I got what everyone else was getting at the time for a used copy of this release of Destiny.

Sold a couple expensive Carts. Like Mighty Final Fight and EarthBound. Those went well. Still have my fingers crossed on the latest Genesis title I sold.

If you want to be real safe and through disassemble the entire game and post a picture of that with the description. That's what I did with EarthBound.

Transferred the money and then waited and waited and waited.

The guy didn't respond to my messages and a month later I notified eBay.

Theres 10s if not hundreds or jap ebay stores that sell shit for super cheap, sometimes less than a dollar with 5 dollars or less shipping. Its magnificent, i just lost all my shit and have been very very slowly building back up on nipbay.

Not who you are responding to, but I actually do have a lawyer service through my job. Unionized jobs are nice sometimes. I would never dream of using it for a $120 video game console ripoff. Shit like this is just the cost of doing business on ebay.

You wan't "ebay prices" for your stuff, you have to deal with ebay drama sometimes.

My story is even better:

>Decide to sell off Xbox 360 collection
>Put the Assassin's Creed 2 Black Edition up on Ebay
>Specifiy: Shippin only within the EU
>Some fucking Arab buys it for 150€ anyway.
>Wants me to ship it to Berlin where his brother is running a parcel service
>I ship it insured so that everything is covered
>Game arrives in Berlin
>Arab's brother sends it to Saudi Arabia without checking content
>Few weeks later
>Receive message and photo of the game, everything completely rekt
>Wants a refund because I apparently shipped him a broken item
>DESPITE the photo in my auction showing the box in perfect condition
>Ends up getting his damn refund because eBay said so even though my responsibility for the game ended in Berlin before the towelhead's brother sent this shit half across the world without checking if the item is alright.

Lesson learned: Never do business with camel herders.

I have a weird story, not /vr/ but /v/

>Buy 5 Skyrim keys at 5 dollars in 2013
>Sell them at Ebay at 10 dollars
>Someone buys it.
>I asked his steam account so I can gift it to him.
>Days passed and I still have the gift in my inventory.
>He never connected to steam.
>I sent him an email asking him if there was any problem.
>No answer.
>Fft, I still have his gift in inventory and he never asked for a refund in ebay.

I have 2 explanations. He is either dead or he was stoned/drunk when he bought the game and forgot about it.

Can anyone recommend an ebay listing for game boy / game gear battery door covers and a genesis model 1 expansion bay cover? Trying to replace the missing parts from childhood consoles and would prefer OEM pieces but a lot of the listings look like chinese repros

>game boy bubble
Man its absurd. I just wanted a cheap Gameboy Color to use my flash cart in because my GBASP pisses me off and I have a gbc wormlight I can use for it.
Before the retro boom you could easily get a GBC for like £10 or even for free as people gave them away, but now the value is like £17-25 for a unit and then postage fees ontop.
Eventually after failed haggling, (not even unreasonable offers. I offered one guy like £22 for his good condition GBC), I settled on a little bit grimy grape GBC bundled in with Super Mario Land 2, Donkey Kong GB, Rugrats, Buzz lightyear, Tweetys high flying adventure and Bugs Bunny Crazy Castle 4 and a power adapter plug for £30. Mostly because Mario Land 2, Donkey Kong, and the power adapter are worth a fair few quid each to offset the GBC cost itself.
Worst part is, I actually already have two Game Boy Colors in my loft that probably work fine but I put them in a crate that I can't currently get to.

Makes sense. Your item goes through about 5 different companies on its journey through your front door, so the chance of it going missing increases by a factor of 5. This is intended of course, since each third-party can just blame each other for the loss and accountability goes out the window. I've even heard that the GSP is legally allowed under the T&C's to 'appropriate' your item if they feel like it (i.e. they think it's worth more than it sold for and want it themselves).

I hate selling on ebay because I sell computers and phones which are common scam items.

What I do when a red flag buyer (new ebay account 0 feedback, etc) buys one is message them "thanking them for buying, but unfortunately I'm away on business and won't be able to ship for another day, but I will ship it tracked and signed for through ultra fast delivery service".

This gives scammers a free backout and let's them know I'm following Paypal's seller protection and have proof of delivery.

9/10 actual scammers will opt out at this point.

Also as people have said, photos of the product, serial numbers, pictures of it with your ebay account in the background, pictures of it in the distinctive packaging (a hand written note and using blue tape for the bubble wrap can make it distinctive) have helped me 3 times now. Go nuts with photos and proof, it only takes 5 minutes.

How much is your hour worth, loser?
I bet it takes longer than an hour to make a "custom" GBA like the one in the picture. With all the other costs its a pathetic wage. "Bubble" my ass. You have to be retarded to even want to look at such a small, shitty screen in 2019.
