I always thought the whole Wisdom Tree saga was hilarious. For those not in the know, Color Dreams was a company selling unlicensed games on their own manufactured cartridges for Nintendo consoles. Nintendo hated that, because any time a game got licensed they took a significant cut. Nintendo used their clout to force retailers not to stock Color Dreams games on their shelves—basically threatening to pull their own products from any store selling unlicensed games. Naturally, they all capitulated. So Color Dreams couldn't sell their games in the toy stores. They had to think: what's a lucrative market where Nintendo has no influence? That's right, Christian bookstores! So Color Dreams renamed to Wisdom Tree, gave all their games a thin Christian veneer, and made bank.
