>/vr/ doesn’t like new things
>/vr/ is one of the newest 4chan boards
Explain this.

>> No.5258949

Internet encourages tribalism and hateful behavior, I used to think only 4chan was like this but every normie social network is like that as well.

People act almost the same inside their cars too.

Oh and SMB3 is great, but it's irritating not finding a first run cop without the corrections and redactions.

Tribalism? You mean the pillar of human nature, a concept that has happened the human race to thrive and survive up to this point?

>> No.5258986

Why is Mario 3 overcharged with occult and religious symbolism?

Crazy thought: a trait that made since when we were small bands of proto-humans fighting over the fat of the land might not be the most helpful for a large urbanized society at a global scale.

Tribalism has it's benefits of course, but it can also cause irrational conflict between people.

large urbanized society at a global scale is cancer so I’m okay with that

I wonder who's behind this post. Oy gevalt.

Knock it off, fags, this is getting dangerously close to /pol/ territory

Come to think of it, SMB3 is also the most political Mario game.
Wha in the fuck this game was lit, we need to decode the message behind it.

Right, back on topic. Why is /vr/ so hypocritical?
>new things suck
>we’re a newer board than /v/
Lmao

CNN, Pornhub, and overpriced products are all neighbors.

/vr/ isn't the "New things sucks" board. This is the video games pre-2000 board.

Maybe large urbanized society is a dystopia contrary to human nature, which is why urban areas are full of violence and ennui.

This guy gets it.

>> No.5259124

Remember how trolls on /vr/ used to be decent, there used to be a point to them.

Beltscroller guy, now that was a troll.

*sips*

Considering that the rates of violence and poverty continue to go down, not up, I would say that is a load of nonsense.

I was the bundt cake troll who trolled the Booster troll. Then some other asshole started pretending to be me and ruined it.

That is a lie. The bigger the city, the bigger the crimes.

Next you're gonna tell me that a global, multicultural society is the correct way to move forward.

You do realize that if things keep going exactly how they are, and no pushback happens, you will never have a place to relax and talk about old games ever again, right? Or a house, for that matter.

>> No.5259165

>>5259147
generally yes, but compare things to historical rates.

>>5259147
depends what you mean by global and multicultural.

If you mean societies with people moving around and multiple types of people living together we're already there.

>> No.5259216

>>5259165
Not him but Merkhel herself literally said multiculturalism has failed. It failed miserably, it was all a fucking disaster, it's going to take decades for europe to recover from what happened.

Take a good look at the swarms and swarms of people in a busy city next time you get the chance. All those people need food, water, they need to expel their bodily wastes, they use transport fuel, and tons of other waste caused by them. 99%+ jobs in cities are pointless and useless in the grand scheme of things and nobody could claim with a straight face they offset the resources used and waste shit out every day.

One day, moot wanted to make a board about the growing trend towards older games. You know, hipster trends etc.

Since the start, we were dedicated in keeping /v/ type posting out, but eventually failed because /vr/ is the equal to living in a house right next to a cesspool,

So we're all hipster /v/, and of course we have an aversion to new things because those just aren't cool man.
