ITT Weird games. Not necessarily wacky zany weird, but ones that just leave you scratching your head in terms of general feel and design decisions.

SNES Pagemaster
>one would assume it to be a happy kiddie game, but the very first world is a dark, drab horror world - the rest however is bright and cheery
>platformer that lacks any bosses
>the box prominently features the dragon from the film, but it is nowhere to be found in the game itself

I'll always remember playing this at my grandparents' house on their ancient, faded TV. It's one of the eeriest games I've ever played. I especially like the way the appearance of the levels can change with each playthrough.

This game will suddenly switch genres from a clunky run and gun to a shooting gallery, and from a shoot em up to a visual novel.
Not to mention there's a pretty blatant sex scene early on that made it past NOA somehow
And I'm glad it did
