Why don't we discuss this game more often? It's peak snes quality and no kirby game would ever meet its greatness.

I play it at least once a year and it never gets old.

The abilities are a lot of fun. I would have rather had one cohesive game rather than like Adventure rather than half a dozen different ones. Great Cave Offensive is the most fun one. The others are ok. The bg art direction mostly sucks.

Really? I was playing through it tonight and was struck by many of the backgrounds. I love the great cave offensive, but revenge of meta knight and milkyway wishes are both great as well.

Beautiful game, amazing AMAZING controls, fun as fuck.
I admit I never played Adventure more than the few first levels, I should go back and finish it someday, but Superstar really blew me away. Mostly because of the controls, but I ended up loving the shit out of the aesthetics, music and characters/enemies/bosses.
