97/98 might not be everyone's favorite but its probably my favorite just for PC alone. I spent significant time on all those games.

These, also one additional thing that really made wme think 'Wow, we are living in an awesome time" back then was the big increase of customization features in console games. Armored Core's deep customization and CAW modes in wrestling games were an example of this from this time.
