>3D Ocarina and Majora's
>3D Star Fox 64
>No 3D F-Zero X
>Last F-Zero game was a Japan-exclusive on the GBA, released in 2004
>No HD remaster that combines GX with AX
Being an F-Zero fan is suffering, and to think it's a dead franchise because of Shigeru "MUH GUIMMICKS" Miyamoto. Well, at least we got that F-Zero mini-game in Nintendo Land.

To be fair, F-Zero X is already perfection and F-Zero GX is a worthy successor. Not much more to add.

F-Zero X was not only the neoliberal space future we all wanted, it was the neoliberal space future we deserved.

Remaking a racing game would be different to remaking a game like OoT or SM64. The physics of a remake are never quite the same. I can't imagine them remaking MK64 for example. Possibly the best hope is they would release a new F-Zero X with classical tracks from this game and maybe a classical mode that looks and feels exactly like the original.

Most nintendo properties are all wasted potential. They purposefully keep the number of titles in development low so their cost of running the company is low so having several bad years isn't the end of the world. Compared to other game companies that had one bad year and were forced to disband. This has an effect where as time goes on the number of titles released only goes down as producing a single game has gotten significantly more expensive. Its why every single "non retro" nintendo console goes through the same cycle. Hype and release, the few must have nintendo quality games, what looks like good third party support on release becomes nothing as time goes on, then stagnation until the next console release and the cycle repeats.

Oh who cares, it'd be boring rehashes or remastered garbage anyway. This very thread is asking for more Nintendo rehashes. Who cares how many rehashes they put out? Rehashes are rehashes.

tldr: rehashes
