KoF is SNK's most popular series, ending KoF means killing off SNK, besides, you can't do much about VA retiring or dying, and SNK is not in its best conditions when it comes to money.
It is weird to play KoF XIV and have Iori of all people being voiced by another Seiyuu after so much time, but at least a good part of the cast is still the same, and Terry's lines stopped being good after the CvSNK games either way so I've long accepted that he'll never be the same.
Kuwata is still doing a great job for Geese though, even though for some weird reason T7 Geese feels more like classic Geese than KoFXIV Geese, I must admit I fell in love with Antonov though, best KoF boss/midboss ever in terms of character.
