ITT: Games that were too ahead of their time

You know, this actually wasn't a bad game. For its time, the item management system was something new and relatively unseen, and later games would make great use of it, but let's face it, having to use two Atari joysticks wasn't exactly convenient. Not to mention, it was cryptic as fuck - but in an era where the internet had long yet to come and video game guides weren't quite a thing yet, a lot of gamers had to figure things out on their own, for better or worse. In this case, though a lot of progression comes from lucky guesses and trial and error.

But hey, they tried, and the end result's admirable, if somewhat flawed.

I played it without the instruction manual and it was always like this little dot represents this and this dot represents that and you need it to break this line which is actually supposed to be a wall and that squiggly line? That's a snake avoid that etc etc
