It's not a bad game. The mixture of first person and side scrolling is unique and interesting - especially for an RPG on the SNES, and it's executed well.

Going round the world map finding new areas containing hp vessels/magic upgrades in random little caves is max comfy. Only other thing I recall is a scene where the hero cockily decides lol let's take on the bigbad and gets his ass fucking handed to him repeatedly in a battle cutscene for like 2 straight minutes. It has some nice writing too.
