Paladin's Quest for the SNES or Super Hydlide for the Genesis. They kind of suck but at the same time they have some amusing ideas.

Liked it better than it's predecessors for simply being a comfy grinding game without a bunch of annoying hangups. I feel like it captured the evolution concept perfectly, too.

Does it matter if I used to like them back then but no longer do?

I used to think this game was the shit. Bear in mind that this was my 2nd DB game after Butouden, and it looked amazing in comparison. Build up mode was also pretty cool, not many fighters had modes like that back then.
