I have no clue but it has nice features I suppose. I believe one of her machines will do cnc patterns. She does a lot of quilting and ran a class for the last couple of years too. She has made me 3 quilts and a few matching pillows for me and quilts for other people in the family so I'm not complaining. There are rare moments that something catches my eye, but I think gaming is a matter of perspective. All games are built on concepts that other games created. My first system was a 1983 atarii 2600, and I still have it (stored in attic b/c wii emulation). As they became more complex, systems like the SNES and even the SEGA Genesis (mega drive) were a HUGE leap in many areas. Lots of what was accomplished for story and game mechanics still exists to this day. The "3d" generation of the PSX/N64 further refined it.

They have perfected 2d in the 90s. They perfected 3d by the late 2000s-2005. Now it is up to the developers to join great 3d capabilities with great mechanics. Most of the mechanics of gameplay are the same as X game that is 20+ years old. As I get older, I get into less and less titles. Dark Souls was the last PC game I bought...nearly 8 years ago. It took concepts from Zelda 64, and made an amazing game. Every now and then someone does something totally fantastic and melds things together that no one ever would have pondered. Shadows Of Chernobyl and Borderlands are examples of that. These are Action games with RPG elements....I guess Fallout 3+ would fit this genre as well. Other great concepts like Diablo 2 still exist, but nothing compares to it right now...Not even close.

There is good in contemporary gaming, but IF you never played older titles it is built on, it will be a great and new experience for you. If you are /vr/ you may see it as a refinement of past styles, or as a tragic misuse of an idea or concept. I usually lean toward the latter. A perfect game is a lot like a TV series. It ends while the fire is still hot, so it can be remembered for ending on a good note. Some games go past this point and ruin the whole series for the love of money.
