What are some 3D PSX games with more than two ranges of movement, like Mario 64's or Banjo-Kazooie's controls?

>> No.5056238

There's shit tons of rpgs with walk and run.

>> No.5056241

Pretty much any 3D platformer on the system 1997 onwards.

Someone translate what OP is asking

For example, you tilt the stick slightly and the character tiptoes, push it about halfway and he walks briskly, hold it all teh way and he runs as fast as possible.

3D platformers with analog controls, for PSX

I nwo what you mean OP, I think.
Can't recall properly...
Ape Escape(also sneaking)
crash and spyro had the least range of movement
Medievil had 3(walk, run, dash)
Can't decide whether or nor CROC 1 and 2 had this. It had tank controls, keep in mind.
And I think thats that. PS1 was more of 2D/3D many genres + ports from PC mixture than full hard on 3D like N64 or 2D like some consoles. To each their own.

The Croc games had full range if you turned on analog controls in options.

Ghost in the Shell. Didn't even need an analog stick to do it either.

Shame those have tank controls though.

>> No.5056954

3D games on the PS1 are a joke and should not be consumed
very few 3D games are actually good, and most if not all of them are RPGs

though the PS1 has an amazing library of 2D gems
probably the best 2D platform ever

>> No.5056985

Just played some Spyro and it has the type of analog movement I'm looking for (no having to hold a button to run, how far you tilt changes how fast you move, etc). Any others like it?

Imagine being this wrong.

>> No.5057071

how so?
3D on the PS1 aged like piss

it looks pretty bad, and the looks, which are literally the worst in gaming history, are backed up with primitive gameplay only the most dense of neogaffer will defend

you can't be this delusional
the 2D library on the otherhand is phenomenal

The only way you can think this is if you can only see fidelity and are blind to character and composition.
