Toejam & Earl is one of the best co-op experiences imaginable, if you're into 2-player games

Hey, what is the best Genesis emulator anyway? I've seen many a debate on /vr/ about zsnes, bsnes, etc. But I've never seen anyone discuss Genesis emulators.

There's not much to debate. Kfusion is the best emulator by far.

Rocket Knight Adventures
Sonic the Hedgehog 1-3 and knuckles
Ecco the Dolphin II(first game is really hard but if you can handle it i suggest it)
Pulseman
Aladdin
The Lion King
Castle of Illusion
Shadowrun

I think those are the essentials, but I may be missing a few.

Genesis is a fairly cheap system to collect for. Plus they had superior cases that a lot of people hung onto, so you're more likely to get a complete package for real decent coin.

Nothing like riding through the security fences in your vehicle, stop outside your destination...

The slaughter ensues...

Literally.

A lot of them had always been pretty bad. It is just after all these years you only remember the good ones. There were shit tons of licensed games that were terrible and completely forgotten over time.

Pretty much the same game. The SCD version obviously is less colorful, but the port is so good that its only noticeable if you watch them side by side.

The major difference is that the PC-CD soundtrack sounds rough while the SCD soundtrack sounds produced. Same music though.

This game got zero love back in the day. I was the only one in my group that owned it and none of my friends wanted to play it.
I blast through it every few years and it still holds up. Crazy how much these games rely on muscle memory. Playing through it I feel like I'm possessed or on auto pilot.
