Why are all JRPGs such grindy, no-skill barely-any-plot (god forbid plot that isn't linear) garbage? What makes people play them? Is it terminally low IQ? Actual mental retardation? Bad parenting? Why do people spend hours on them when they could have been enjoying good games instead?

I like both jrpgs and shmups and many other genres and I don't get any of this shit. If you ask me haters of both are wasting their time. Just play whatever you want in peace like sane people does.

Unless your favorite game is shitposting, that is. Which I'm starting to think is the case with both "teams" involved.

If you are mad your last favorite thread died then make another. And post something insightful to attract conversation instead of just shitposting which is naturally only going to attract more shitposting. Unless, again, that's your end game.
