What game really defined the 4th Gen Consoles?

The first Donkey Kong Country defines the 4th gen for me.

Around this time you had the rise of the multimedia era that would bleed into the fifth gen. You had 32x adapters, CD-ROM and 3D games like Daytona USA hitting the arcades and here was the SNES, a 16 bit system, telling you that they could give you incredible graphics and music that just weren't available anywhere else in 1994.
