I think I'm becoming addicted to flea markets. Most of the game guys at them know what they have but their prices are still typically under market value and they're always willing to negotiate. The real fun part is looking for people who have obviously just bought out a storage container or the people that are all over the place. They'll just have a bunch of used stuff sprawled out on a series of tables and even they don't know what's in the pile. I run into lots of cheap 5th and 6th gen stuff, mostly mixed in with audio CDs and movie DVDs.

This would have been legit good advice had I gotten it before I went. The Craigslist ad had "NO EARLY BIRDS OR CALLS" in it, so I didn't want to show up too early. I still showed up 10 minutes early because I didn't know exactly where it was and I didn't want to get lost. Walked up 5 minutes before posted start time and there was already a guy standing there holding a handful of snes carts. Pretty disappointing but from what I overheard, it seemed like the guy buying the games and the guy running the sale knew each other. I might not have stood a chance at all, no matter what I did or when I showed up. The rest of the stuff wasnt very good.

FYI I've been doing the yard sale and estate sale thing for a while and it never hurts to ask about early sales at garage sales. I had a guy open up a day early and I cleaned him completely out for a few hundred bucks and he gave me a good deal on a ton of stuff. The estate sales near me are run by different companies and each has their own policy. If you go to one and ask they'll let you know what their policies are and you can try asking ahead of time. Two of the companies that run sales near me don't advertise early sales or reservations but I am allowed to call in advance. I am not sure if this is something everyone can do or just regulars. One of them recently started doing it officially but they require prepayment over phone.

Ayo, here are my recent purchases, Panic Chan special edition(with mini cd, 2 pins and a qoopie doll) and the best Saturn game. Got GH for 150$, pretty good, seller had it listed for 200. Panic Chan was about 20 bucks, and the idiot jap shipped it in an envelope so the box got mushed.

Was tired of switching my white Saturn between two setups so I got a skeleton Saturn for my tate setup.

Not that I'm a hater, but why didn't you buy an action replay? I wish I had 400 bucks to blow in a skeleton saturn. I just have a standard black usa model. Jelly. Sell me your white one.

I've ever owned an American Saturn so there'd be no point in an action replay for me. Always wanted a Skeleton so I figured it'd be perfect since I needed a second Saturn.

>sell me your white one
Sorry anon, need one saturn for the hori setup and one for the tate setup plus it was a gift from a bro.

I understand, but what is a tate/hori setup? Also the action replay allows you to play all saturn games (pal/ntscus/ntscj/cdr) and also acts as a ram cart, GameShark and memory card. Works on all systems. Quite a magical item.

Yeah the action replay is great, I'll have to get one for the few US games I plan on buying for my systems, though I already got the 4MB RAM and memory carts.

Tate it when you turn your monitor sideways to play vertical scrolling shooters like Galaga for example. Pic related. Hori or the more proper term, "yoko" is when your monitor is in the standard non-retarded position for traditional horizontal shooters like Gradius.

Oh, really cool! I'm terrible at those kinds of games, which is why i only own one of them. Didn't know there were tv's that let you turn the picture sideways. Nice stick too, jealous, way better looking than my 30$ ascii saturn arcade stick. Dig the Beavis and Butthead figure on the tv.

What's Panic Chan like? Maybe I'm not looking hard enough, but I can't find any info on gameplay or anything.
