I just got done with the Jack, Queen and King cups on Master difficulty. I still gotta do Joker, which is gonna suck. Any machine recommendations or tips?

I struggle with Master difficulty, though I just played the Jack Cup on Master and finally, just about scraped being first. My favourite, or most used racer is Beastman.

And pulled off Joker on Master. Used the Sonic Phantom and some strategic rival kills. Tough, but so much fun.

If you ever play GX, this is essential to master. It's a brutally difficult game, far more than anything in X.

I've already beaten GX on Master. Rival killing wasn't nearly as important, because there's not nearly as much rubberbanding.

GX kills will give you a safety net, but precise track memorization and perfect reflexes should get you most of the way through. Also yeah, less rubberbanding for the most part.

X to me is harder mostly because you can lose speed in a lot of places, GX on the other hand you can keep speed in a lot of places. X tracks also don't have many turbo pads.

That's why I think X is harder as well. It's much easier to lose control of your machine. Not to mention on Master, the AI goes faster than you and has unlimited boost. GX is a great example of how to make a hard but (mostly) fair game.

I feel like this game is so overlooked. Its SO fun. I had it as a kid, then bought it again at a used videogame store for like $3. Even though I suck at it, I love it.

the fuck is up with master class? i beat joker cup on expert without much trouble and practicing, buti can't get better than 8th place on muter city in master difficulty
