Wrong, this was one of many things that was removed or altered in this shitty romhack SoA made.

What about peoplle like me who just got bored? I mean, it's not bad for a console beat em up. It's more exciting than The Tick.

I'm glad SoR Remake turned Ash into a playable character with a full move set, and that they kept him ultra gay too.

So what's the deal with the US version?
I can get through Bare Knuckle 3 fine, or at least as well as I can get through the rest of them. But SoR3 is just brutal. Considering usually American localizations are easier.... why?

>> No.4989252

>>4989159
lol, no they weren't. Even the worst FF plays and is designed better than the best SoR

>> No.4989258

>>4989159
lmao vr everytime, no cd wasn't anywhere near the arcade what with smaller sprites, a 5 enemy limit and reduced colours etc which you'd know if you ever played them.

streets of rage series is god for console but nothing compared to arcade unless you just go on soundtrack, they are clunky, over long, terribly balanced which is why sega chuck lives at you like candy to compensate.

you've never 1cced any and know nothing about play or mechanics which informs your typically low skill pleb opinion.

the final fight console ports and sequels were junk though.

FF3 wasn't bad. But yes, Capcom were at their peak in arcades, especially AvP and CnD.

>> No.4989334

>>4989285
capcom and later igs just dominate the genre tbqh, konami had some ok moments and alsmot great but couldn't resist fucking them with random i-frames on enemies and stupid exploits to beat bosses.

the most disappointing capcom game was armored warriors because it's so fucking cool but the 1cc sees you just getting the flying pod and abusing one move over and over, shame.

I didn't care to beat it. SoR 1 was why I bought a genesis. I played the shit out of it and when 2 arrived I played the shit out of the shit that I played out of that one. I doubled down on the amount of shit extracted from my playing is what I'm trying to say. But then 3 arrived I was like, this is just shit. I don't even want to play this shit. Whatever shit is to be excavated from this shit can stay compacted within it for all I care.

>> No.4989685

>>4989653
the 3rd was the most balanced and had actual decent movement, naturally you're a shit tier pleb who only judged them on MUH MUSAK and can't actually play at all.

what a joke.

>American versions are always easier.

God, I wish this myth would die already. It's actually the other way around most of the time. Games like this, ninja gaiden 3 nes, re1, contra hard corps, etc. prove this. Japan initially banned renting games due to people being able to beat them quickly as games were a lot shorter than they used to be. The NA/EU however did not ban rentals and what most game companies would do would make their games harder so that they couldn't be completed in a single rental.

shaddup. the reason i only rented it once and never bought it was because of all the stupid robot, bomb, kangaroo nonsense. i come to this series for 80,'s martial arts action movie street justice, not this mental abortion of plot, character, and setting.
