who else is hyped? According to euros this was even better than the nes. Hopefully they won't be as hard to find.

it still has a completely non-functional keyboard and barely functional joystick, and is ot worth buying.

Eh, it depends on the serial number version as to how fragile the keyboard is. Still better than the Max Machine. The portable version of the C-64, the SX-64, is at least slightly more durable overall, though it lacks the cassette port.

who cares? Why would you just use a wireless keyboard/mouse/gamepad? Who wants to use that shitty ass joystick?

the implementation of this is apparently pretty poor if you look on c64 enthusiast boards who understand the hardware inside, it uses an old outdated version of vice, and was supposed to be a functioning updated fullsize emulation unit but with usb ports but instead, now it's a keyboard looking case that needs a keyboard. In addition to it not really having many of the flagship games for the system but more or less alright games and filler. At least Nintendo chose great games for theirs and you can mod it to add more on the nintendo mini's.

you're better off buying a raspberry pi, a keyboard, a gamepad, and using vice because at least the code will be up to date.

It's a shame, it looks like this thing had a lot of potential.

Positively buying a mini let the merchant know there's interest in retro gaming, but - alas - you prefer to pirate roms and run them on an emulator that gives zero of the real thrills.

Now, let me guess... are you a Neger?

Isn't that what eventually led to emu paradise getting raped? When Nintendo realised just how valuable those roms were?

idk but Nintendo tried for years to do that. There were other hypes of blacklisting maybe in early 2000s

btw any gentleman with some grain of salts - read: not an ameroneger - should have gotten local backups of precoius roms.

My list is essentially bomberman, streetfighter plus some less-known roms found on various places like chessmaster 2000 and many japanese games of the puzzle-battle types as puyo puyo and others.

These games are so dated, that it'll just sit on a shelf. I see this being in those SALE bins at Gamestop in three months.

SNES Classic Mini is just a generic ARM computer running a mediocre emulator. What "thrills" am I missing with higher accuracy emulators that more closely approximate the lag and look of a real SNES played on a CRT with composite video?
